A Large 4 option in those products was not verified. Studio/API access does not establish availability everywhere.
Does this site offer a chat or API?
No. It provides independent information and tutorials; model requests happen through an external provider or your application.

Is it open source?

Can I run it on a laptop?
No laptop configuration is verified. The full weights remain very large despite sparse active compute. Deployment preparation.

Can it understand or generate images?
Images are documented inputs; text is the output. Image understanding does not mean direct image generation.
Are Le Chonk, ML4 and Large 4 different?
Mistral uses Le Chonk as the nickname for Mistral Large 4, abbreviated ML4. The documented API ID is mistral-large-4.
Why “Le Chonk”?
The launch uses the nickname. “Chonk” evokes a large, chunky animal meme; a more specific origin story is unverified.
Is it Pokémon Lechonk?
This site covers Mistral’s model. The Pokémon character and similarly named projects are separate subjects. Check the publisher and URL.
Does a benchmark lead make it the best choice?
