How to use Le Chonk AI in Mistral Studio
Start with the official playground, then move to the API when you need an application.
Open the official playground
- Open Mistral Studio at console.mistral.ai. Sign in or create an account with the options shown there.
- Select your workspace and open Playground. Check credits, billing and preview access requirements.
- Look for Mistral Large 4 in the model selector. Check the identifier
mistral-large-4; the nickname may not appear. - Start a new conversation, enter a short prompt and submit. Save the model, date and usage with the answer.
Your first three tasks

Get the document and chart exercises. Start with non-sensitive practice inputs.
Studio, Le Chat and the API

A chat subscription does not establish an API allowance. Review API costs before repeated requests.
Troubleshoot access

| Model missing | Check the workspace and preview access. Do not substitute a different model while recording a Large 4 result. |
| Credit error | Review balance, billing and workspace usage limits. |
| Request rejected | Check the exact error; reduce prompt/image size and consult the API guide. |
| Unclear answer | Ask a narrower question with citations, then check the evidence. |
